A recent survey looked into what an ideal Sunday looks like.
Apparently the perfect Sunday consists of waking up at 8:30 am to the smell of breakfast cooking, a cuddle and three hours of television. A quarter of us dream about an ideal weekend morning that starts with a Full English breakfast in bed; a third of us like to start their Sundays with a cup of tea or coffee, before pottering around the house for a leisurely hour.
The perfect Sunday roast includes three slices of beef, four roast potatoes and gravy all over the plate, but NOT drowning the food, a must. The perfect roast also includes a healthy helping of carrots, stuffing, broccoli and peas, with an apple crumble or cheesecake for afters.
You can improve your perfect Sunday by tuning in to Bolton FM through the day - enjoy that early cup of coffee in the company of Andy Haslam and Weekend Breakfast; potter about the house to David Carne followed by Doug and Margaret. Enjoy your Sunday Roast while you listen to The Entertainment Fix and The Spirit of Bolton before enjoying music from the 'most eclectic decade ever' in the Seventies Show with Neil Wilkinson and the final treat of the week Bolton FM has to offer is The Sundae Service with Jayne Hilton.
This Easter Weekend seems two special editions of This is Bolton on Good Friday and Easter Monday with 9 year old Emma Wilkinson presenting a 'Junior This is Bolton' between 11am and 1pm.
Make sure you tune your radio to 96.5FM this Easter weekend to listen to Emma and the other Easter treats we have for you and to make your Sunday's even more perfect.
We all have a perfect Sunday in mind.
