Bolton FM will be playing their part at Farnworth's Big Day Out which is being held at Farnworth Cricket Club, in Lavender Road, on Sunday, May 6 from noon. 

You'll have the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous funfair as well as live music from local bands, and your favourite community radio station - Bolton FM, and a selection of hot food. 

There will also be inside and outside bars selling a host of alcoholic drinks, including ciders, lagers, proseccos and gins. 

We're already talking about the Food and Drink Festival at Bolton FM, it's great to see the celebrity chefs who have helped to made the annual Food and Drink Festival such a draw for the town committing to this year's event. 

Top chefs Ainsley Harriott, baking queen Nadiya Hussain and TV favourite James Martin will return to the town for the popular Summer festival. 

They join perennial favourite Michael Caines and the wealth of different stalls that make the festival fabulous. 

They've all helped to make the event not only high profile but also much more fun. I know our volunteers who have worked on previous Food and Drink festivals and have interviewed the chefs appreciates their entertaining and different styles of cookery and can now look forward to seeing them again.
